Students-Access your account information

On this page a student can access and modify account information. To access your account information or check the experiments you have already completed, you will need to enter your log-in ID and password into the fields below, and click on the Submit information button. If the entered information is valid, the Access account button will become active.

Clicking on the Access account button opens a new window that allows you to view and change your password and security information. No changes are permanent until you click on the Apply button. You cannot change any other components of your account. In particular, you cannot change your log-in ID.

Access experiment data. The right side of the window lists the experiments you have completed. When you select the lab you are interested in, you can then get three types of information.

  • You can see your own individual data for the selected lab by clicking on the Get your data button. A new window will appear that shows the plot or data table generated when you finished the selected experiment. It will include the data summary and trial-by-trial data.
  • You can load the group averages for the selected lab by clicking on the Get group averages button. A window will appear that shows a plot or data table of the average data across all students in your CogLab group that have completed the selected lab.
  • You can load the global averages by clicking on the Get global averages button. This loads the average data for this lab across all people who finished the lab and agreed to have their data as part of the global data set.
